De Hui Tang

De Hui Tang is a teahouse in Dafang Hutong, Dongcheng District, Beijing. Hong Kong designer Geraldine Lo carved a quiet island within the big city out of countless contrasts, offering a Zen space for tasting tea and connecting, away from the busy and cluttered surroundings.

At the invitation of Space Modification, shard island filmed for De Hui Tang and helped the project win the a+awards Jury Award from international architectural-design experts as well as the Audience Award, drawing international attention.
