In this digital botanical film, shard island’s visual design team depicts emblematic Chinese plants to express emotion and a dreamlike realm. The meticulously crafted flower-scape is built from thousands of photographs of plants and blossoms; through digital collage and 3D reconstruction it recaptures the forms of natural flora and their colours under light, assembling these elements one by one into landscapes that magnify the mysterious qualities of nature and reveal the beauty of plants.
